About The Vet Mind Mentor

THE VET MIND MENTOR
Dr Sarah Golding BVSc
Sarah knows the reality of veterinary life because she has lived it.
With 12 years in mixed practice, a young family, and a deep passion for veterinary mental wellbeing and work life balance, Sarah created The Vet Mind Mentor to give vets what she wished existed earlier in her own career.
A space that is practical, supportive, and grounded in the real pressures of clinic life, where you can build resilience, strengthen confidence, and learn skills that make the hard days feel lighter.
How The Vet Mind Mentor Began
Vet school teaches you how to treat patients. It does not always teach you how to carry the weight that comes with the job.
The pressure to perform, the fear of mistakes, difficult client conversations, compassion fatigue, and the emotional load of negative outcomes can quietly build over time. For many vets, it starts to feel like you either push through or walk away.
Sarah’s mission is to change that story.
The Vet Mind Mentor exists to help you build resilience without hardening, develop confidence without ego, and stay in the profession with more calm, clarity, and joy.

Real Words From Real Vets
The Vet Mind Mentor is built on real clinic life, and it is backed by the vets and clinics who have seen the difference. We are proud to share their words and to be featured in conversations that keep veterinary wellbeing front of mind.
